Wizard News 01. Sept 2010 The new Wizard album "Wariwulf" is a concept album about vampires, witches, man-eater and other creatures taken from the trilogie "Die Chroniken des Hagen von Stein" from the german author André Wiesler. The dark tale of vampires and cannibals extends from the Middle Ages to the present day. All fans can use the time till release of the album (end of the year) by reading the story which is absolutely exciting! For the end of the year Wizard plan to make a concert together with André Wiesler where he will read short extracts from the books and where Wizard will play the right songs to that. The day for this concerts will be published soon. 30. Aug 2010 The recordings for the new album are finished right now. Achim Köhler will mix and master the new steel record. This week we will do the photoshooting for the new CD again with Jochen van Eden. 08. Aug 2010 New WIZARD album.... Four Songs are already recorded. We can promise you that the next WIZARD record will be great Metal again. IN THE SIGN OF THE WIZARD 07. Aug 2010 Wizard visit Bad Bones in Oberhausen. At the end fo the video Volker gives a statement to fight with Bad Bones in the ring. 07. Aug 2010 Short interim report from 08.05.2010 03. Jul 2010 Watch Volker getting attacked by Bad Bones. 29. Mai 2010 Short incident while Volker wrote a song for Wrestler Tommy End. Mr. Bad Bones attacked Volker hard and very unfair. This was going on two times. After a few tries to speak reaonably with Bad Bones, now the time has come that Wizard will stand behind Volker and speak with Bad Bones. This will happen on Saturday 3th july in Oberhausen, Turbinenhalle. We will keep you informed! 28. Mai 2010 New Concert date with RAGE and GUN BARREL online. 18. More infos about that will come in the future. The first concert is confirmed for 2010 (in Czech republik in June). Nov 2009 Leider ist das Konzert in Düsseldorf ausgefallen. Die ganze Beschallungsanlage ist anscheinend wegen eines technischen Defekts abgebrand. Das tut uns für alle angereisten Fans sehr leid, der Veranstalter sah aber leider keine Möglichkeit mehr, das Konzert zu retten. Wir bitten um euer Verständnis und hoffen, demnächst noch einmal in Düsseldorf spielen zu können. Wir sind mindestens ebenso enttäuscht wie ihr! 13. Okt 2009 Für alle Wizard und Hohlbeinfans: Volker Leson war im letzten Jahr sehr fleißig und hat viele Songs für Wolfgang Hohlbein geschrieben. There you can also meet (beside others) André Wiesler (bestseller author) with whom Wizard will work together on the next album (what texts concern). 25. Jul 2009 New concert in Aalton (NL) B.I.T.E. festival on 12th September confirmed. 23. Jul 2009 After recovering from the MCF III we want to say thank you to all the fans who celebrated the metal with us! You were really crazy and also the rain could not stop you: Thanx so much for that! We hope to see you anywhere else where we can play a little bit longer.
